These days, everything is becoming “smart” ? smartwatches, smart cars, and smart AI. Yet, people are not necessarily becoming happier.
There is still poverty, even as some enjoy extreme wealth. People are still killing one another using expensive and sophisticated weapons.
A smart brain alone is not necessarily capable of creating a happy society.
Genla says that what we need is not only a smart brain, but also a questioning heart. He asks, “Why can’t we solve such fundamental and simple issues?”
Education has long been about the repetition of knowledge.
But knowledge is not always right. In fact, it can sometimes lead to tragedy.
Knowledge is nothing more than information from the past.
To seek out a good future ? one that has never existed before ? we need a questioning heart. We must ask ourselves whether we are making the right choices.
Genla says, “We need both a smart brain and a kind heart.” While being smart is a tool that leads to convenience, being wise is an attitude that builds a better society.
People have always known what is right.
We don’t want anyone sleeping on the streets.
We don’t want people to lose their arms, legs, or eyes.
We want to enjoy peaceful dinners with loving parents, brothers, and sisters.
Every child deserves to be cherished and loved by someone.
If a child has no parents, we can provide not just a house, but a home.
These are simple truths ? universal and intuitive.
And yet, we still need many wise people to transform society.
These are common senses as it is existed.
